Email Templates
Introduction
Email templates allow you and your staff to store and easily access emails that are consistently sent to leads, saving time on repetitive manual tasks. These email templates are NOT intended for use in your automated email marketing campaigns.
Creating a New Email Template
To create a new email template, navigate to the Preferences section, then select the Email Template option, and finally, click the Add New button. The following page will populate for you to begin building your email.

- Subject: Enter a subject for the email you want to send. This subject will be visible to the lead and will help you and your staff identify what email was sent in the Lead History.
- Email Body: Compose the body of your email just as you would when sending from your regular email account (e.g. Outlook, Yahoo, Gmail). You can click in the Ellipsis (three dots) for additional formatting options.
- Attachment: You can attach files and photos up to a 20MB size limit total.
- Email Template Name: Only MyMedLeads users can see this name. Assign the template a name that reflects how you want it to appear on your list of email templates.
- Description: Only MyMedLeads users can see this section. Include any details of what this email is intended for into this field.
- Select Field: You can choose from the various fields provided in the dropdown to add to your email. This information is pulled from the Lead Detail page and MML.
- Template Type: When creating an email template, selecting “Private” will restrict access to only you. Conversely, choosing “Public” will allow all users to access and use the email you created. This ensures a consistent, uniform experience for any emails sent to leads.
- SAVE AS DRAFT: You can save the email template as a draft but it will not be available as an option to choose until it is published.
- SAVE AND PUBLISH: Choose this option when the email template is ready for use.
- CANCEL: If you choose to not save any edits you have made, simply click on cancel and none of the work will be saved.
Edit an Existing Template
To edit an existing email template, simply click the Edit button next to the template you’d like to update. This will open the template editor, where you’ll see the same fields available when creating a new template—allowing you to make changes as needed.
